Manager/Senior Manager for Plant & Equipment

This is a permanent position attached to a civil engineering company in the West area providing services which includes roadwork, drainage work, basement work, structural works involving demolition as well as other general building works.

 

Job Scope

-Manage and be accountable for the overall plant and equipment services, repair and maintenance

-Manage and grow the earth retaining stabilising structure (ERSS) and earthwork business

-Support the Group tenders in plant planning, allocation and utility.

-Drive cost efficiency by good planning, utilization of manpower, materials and equipment.

-Innovate and explore new technology in construction services, not limited to tooling, automation, new machinery, construction method, and approaches that increase productivity and decrease dependency on labour.

 

Requirements

-Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.

-5 to 10 years of relevant experience in managing plant and equipment.

-Good business acumen and ability to manage a team

-Good communication skills with ability to interact with people of all levels.

-Resourceful, adaptable, well-organized and meticulous with an eye for detail.

-Computer literate

-Class 3 driving licence

 

Salary Range: $6,500 to $8,000 per month

 

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am to 6.15pm, 5 day week
